Salary: £15,297 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Leader to join our Visitor Centre Team in delivering a high quality catering offer to conference delegates, members of the public and other visitors at our busy Idle Valley Nature Centre.

Key responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate a team to deliver results.
  • Ensure high level of customer service across all interactions.
  • Maintain food hygiene and environmental health standards.
  • Work independently and handle shift specific challenges.
  • Think on your feet and put yourself in the customer's shoes.
Qualifications & skills
  • Experience in a busy catering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and environmental health legislation.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Self motivated, proactive with a "can do" attitude.
  • Comfortable working independently.
