Veteterinary surgeon role for Independent team, Rushden, Northamptonshire

Overview

An exciting career opportunity is available for a confident, small animal veterinary surgeon with at least one year of post qualification experience to join a welcoming, family owned practice. The successful candidate will become part of a close knit and supportive team of five vets and five nurses, working within one of the country's most beautiful veterinary practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to small animals, including diagnostics, treatment and wellness care.
• Build and maintain long term relationships with clients, ensuring continuity of care with a dedicated vet.
• Participate in the delivery of excellent diagnostics, with full clinical autonomy and affordable treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with at least one year post qualification experience.
• Confident, calm under pressure and able to consult as well as perform clinical procedures.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture.

Benefits

• Salary £45,000-£50,000 (depending on experience) plus an annual bonus up to 20% of salary.

Working Hours and Facilities

The role offers a four or five day week with flexible arrangements. There are no out of hours commitments, on call duties or bank holiday shifts. Vets benefit from 15 minute consultations, a personalised consulting room and full access to a fully equipped clinical facility with digital DR x ray, dental x ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment, dedicated cat and dog kennels and an accredited Veterinary Nurse Training Centre.
