Veterinary surgeon role for lovely practice - Kidderminster - Worcestershire

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is ready to progress in their career and is looking to join a practice that combines compassion, ambition and genuine opportunities for development. This is a permanent, full-time position, although part-time applicants will also be considered. The role involves working 40 hours per week across four days, along with participation in a one-in-three Saturday morning rota.

The practice itself is a purpose built, 4,000 sq ft facility designed to provide a calm, spacious and modern setting for high quality clinical care. It is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, including multiple consulting rooms, two operating theatres, an in house laboratory, and dedicated dental, X ray and ultrasound suites. The layout has been thoughtfully planned to enhance comfort for both clients and patients, with a welcoming reception area, a quiet space for nervous dogs, separate wards for cats and dogs, and a well equipped staff room.

Sustainability is a key priority within the practice. The building incorporates environmentally conscious materials such as recyclable flooring, ceiling tiles and acoustic panelling, alongside energy efficient LED lighting and air source heat pumps that support responsible heating, cooling and air circulation.

Located in the heart of Kidderminster, the practice benefits from easy access to local amenities, transport links and green spaces. The individual will be expected to maintain high standards of patient care and client service, contribute to clinical governance, and support the smooth running of the practice. Collaboration with the Practice Manager on rota planning and team wellbeing is an important aspect of the role, as is mentoring colleagues and fostering a positive, inclusive team culture. A calm, solution focused approach and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment are essential.
