The Veterinary Surgeon will work alongside an experienced and supportive team comprising veterinary surgeons, five Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), two Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs), and four front of house Care Coordinators.

The Role

  • A balanced mix of consulting and surgical/theatre time
  • 15 minute consultations

  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (08:30am - 1:00pm), with frequency adjusted as the clinic continues to grow
  • No out of hours (OOH) commitments
Benefits Package
  • 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays (Good Friday worked with day in lieu)
  • Private Medical Insurance, including Employee Assistance Programme access
  • £1,000 annual CPD allowance, with support for certificate study
  • Fear Free training and accreditation provided as standard
  • Birthday leave
  • Three paid days annually to volunteer for a local charity
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • Free Total Wellness Plans for the employee's pets, plus 25% discount on additional plans and treatments
  • Quarterly team social "fun budget"
  • Summer and Christmas group social events
  • Opportunities for CPD trips to the South of France
  • Opportunity to win a trip to the North American Veterinary Congress

This position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 to £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience, alongside genuine career progression within a supportive and forward thinking independent veterinary group.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking clinical autonomy, professional development, and a positive work life balance within a thriving, community focused practice.
