Vendor Strategy Manager

Join Barclays as a Vendor Strategy Manager where you will play a key role focused on ensuring our supply chain is fit for purpose, aligned to business needs, and continuously evolving. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements from the supply chain, while proactively monitoring supplier performance and driving innovation. A key aspect of the role is staying ahead of contract renewals, ensuring we maximise value and maintain a forward-looking supplier strategy. This is a visionary position, centred on innovation and strategic contract management. We're seeking someone who is naturally curious, commercially minded, and able to think outside the box to challenge existing approaches and drive meaningful improvements.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience in transformation programmes
• Proven track record in cost saving initiatives
• Experience in roles that have delivered measurable customer outcomes and business impact, not necessarily within banking
• A strong commercial mindset, including experience in pricing and procurement, even outside of financial services

Additional skills include:

• Experience with software platforms such as Kofax (Tungsten), Adobe, and Salesforce
• Awareness or understanding of AI and emerging technologies
