About the Role

At ASM, we're looking for a detail-oriented Vendor Onboarding Specialist to help ensure our suppliers meet the high standards expected across our business.

You'll play a key role in the onboarding and governance of new and existing suppliers, carrying out due diligence, compliance checks and maintaining accurate supplier records. Working closely with Purchasing, Finance and Customer Retention teams, you'll help minimise risk, support regulatory compliance and ensure suppliers are ready to do business with ASM.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting supplier due diligence, validation and onboarding checks.
  • Verifying supplier documentation, banking information and legal details.
  • Reviewing supplier financial stability, trading history and compliance records.
  • Carrying out sanctions, fraud and risk screening where required.
  • Completing supplier compliance assessments, including sustainability and ethical business reviews.
  • Maintaining accurate supplier records and documentation within ERP systems.
  • Monitoring supplier certifications, insurance documentation and renewal dates.
  • Supporting supplier reviews, revalidation activities and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Producing onboarding and compliance reports for management.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve supplier onboarding processes and governance.
  • Working collaboratively with Purchasing, Finance and Customer Retention teams to ensure an efficient supplier onboarding experience.
About You

We're looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.

You'll ideally have:
  • Previous experience in supplier onboarding, procurement support, compliance or an administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Confidence reviewing documentation and working with sensitive information.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience using ERP, CRM or similar business systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across different teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
