Our client is seeking a Vendor Management Analyst for 12 months hybrid role based at Kings cross.

The Vendor Management Analyst will join the client's Global Experience Vendor Management team. This role requires a marketing procurement subject matter expert with a focus on leading various work streams with operational depth and strategic thinking to develop, drive, and execute on the sourcing processes. This position requires deep knowledge and experience with the Advertising &/or Marketing industry, a track record in driving value improvement programs, and knowledge of commercial contract basics. This is a unique opportunity that will help company ensure organizational cost savings and lead to time reductions so that company's performance objectives are met.

This role demands keen attention to detail and organization, comfort in working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines under minimal supervision, and must also be able to work collaboratively and efficiently with both internal marketing clients and external suppliers. Much of the work will be strategic in nature; however, there will also be tactical components to this position. Responsibilities:

  • Review and triage Sourcing requests to ensure the Sourcing is handled through the optimal channel or team to optimize total cost, comply with policies, and ensure speed and efficiency
  • Align with 3rd party teams to triage the low value/complexity sourcing requests to them.
  • Consult with and advise internal requesters regarding their purchasing needs and troubleshoot their questions and issues. Run rapid sourcing processes and negotiate with cross functional teams to generate the best total cost and quality for company.
  • Evaluate and process purchase requisitions efficiently to reduce downstream holds and positively impact payment cycles.
  • Lead initiatives, either independently or within a team, to optimize our business processes and standards, by leveraging market knowledge, subject matter expertise, and business insights.
  • Derive and/or pursue areas of opportunity to up level our creative development processes, which can be within our Global Sourcing team, with our Agencies, with our Marketing teams, or any of our internal business partners including but not limited to Marketing, Operations, Legal, Risk/Insurance, Privacy, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Competent with concise, clear verbal and written communications internally and externally.
  • Comfort with analytics and strong attention to detail, ensuring that business activities comply with internal policies and guidelines, as well as with industry standards, and legal considerations, including data privacy laws.
  • Willingness to also support the Vendor Management team with updating and creating spreadsheets, analysing and creating reports, and other similar tasks.
  • Comfort with reviewing and supporting contracts and scope or work documents, as well as the requesting of the development of commercial contracts, including statements of work, amendments, and related documents.
  • Aptitude for updating details within company's proprietary tools, as well as Google-documents.
  • Specific project work will vary, including various sourcing and source to pay activities.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ year of Marketing Industry experience in procurement or similar areas.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and managing supplier relationships within the Advertising &/or Marketing industry.
  • Highly motivated and able to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to flourish in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity.
  • Disciplined, organized, and flexible.
  • Adept in working with various tools, including MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Able to prioritise and be highly productive in a high volume environment.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders across different regions and time zones.
