Salary: £30,000 - £38,122.86 per year (dependent on experience and capability)

Job Overview
We are seeking a capable and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our growing workshop team. This role is suited to a technician who is confident working across internal combustion engine, hybrid and electric vehicles, and who takes pride in accurate diagnostics and quality workmanship.
The salary offered reflects a structured banding approach based on experience, diagnostic capability and ability to work independently. There is clear scope to progress within the upper end of the band as skills and responsibility increase.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are returned safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role within a busy working environment. We are looking for someone methodical, safety-conscious and comfortable managing their own workload.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on ICE, hybrid and electric vehicles
Use diagnostic equipment and technical data to identify and resolve faults
Undertake mechanical and electrical repairs within your level of competence
Work safely with hybrid and high-voltage systems in accordance with regulations
Complete job cards and documentation accurately
Identify additional repair requirements and report clearly
Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working environment
Work collaboratively to meet turnaround targets
Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
Level 3 motor vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicles
Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail
Hybrid and EV training or certification is desirable, though we are prepared to support further development for the right candidate.
