Job Description

Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic

Location: Basingstoke (Commutable from Reading, Newbury, Andover, Farnborough, Hook, Fleet, Winchester)

Salary: £36,000 - £56,000 OTE (High Basic Salary + Uncapped, Realistic Bonus)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday ONLY - Strictly No Weekends!

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Performing vehicle servicing, maintenance, and comprehensive Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) to manufacturer standards
  • Executing advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics using modern manufacturer diagnostic tools
  • Carrying out major mechanical repairs, engine work, and component replacements
  • Working on next-generation Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (EV)
  • Collaborating with a friendly, highly skilled workshop team that values quality over rushed jobs
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Experience: Proven experience in a dealership or fast-paced independent workshop
  • Skills: Solid diagnostic fault-finding skills and strong mechanical expertise
  • Licence: Valid full UK Driving Licence
