Job Description

Vehicle Technician
Location: Slough
Salary: £36,000-£40,000 per annum + Bonus (Flexibility available for the right candidate)
Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

We are currently looking for a skilled EVVehicle Technician to join a busy and growing automotive workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 qualified Technician (Level 3 preferred) with an MOT Testing licence to become part of a supportive team working on both traditional and electric vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
  • Performing MOT tests (where qualified).
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
  • Working confidently on electric and hybrid vehicles (or having a willingness to develop EV skills).
  • Maintaining accurate service records and completing work to manufacturer standards.
  • Supporting the parts department and wider workshop team when required.
  • Delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (minimum requirement).
  • NVQ Level 3 is highly desirable.
  • Valid MOT Tester licence.
  • Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles.
  • An interest in or experience working with electric vehicles (EVs).
  • Good understanding of automotive parts and willingness to support other areas of the business.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • A reliable team player with excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
