Job Opportunity: Recovery Driver Location: Ipswich, UK Rota-Based Shifts Full-Time Competitive Salary Over 40 Years Experience.
A family-run garage offering both vehicle recovery and repair services in Ipswich and surrounding areas. From humble beginnings with a single Toyota HiAce Pickup, we've grown into a fully equipped workshop, offering MOTs, diagnostics, and roadside support.
What we're looking for we're seeking a dedicated Recovery Driver who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service-even in challenging conditions. You'll be the kind of person who goes above and beyond to help others, with a positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience driving vehicles over 3,500kg
Valid both Class 1 and 2 driving licences
Current CPC Driver's Card
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to show tolerance, sympathy, and understanding
Team player who supports workshop and colleagues when needed
Your Role
Recover vehicles following breakdowns or accidents
Perform roadside diagnostics and repairs where possible
Operate on a two-week rota including weekends and varied start/finish times
Occasionally carry out longer-distance recoveries
