Vehicle Prepper

About The Role

Motability Operations are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Prepper to join our busy, state-of-the-art refurbishment centre in Coalville on a permanent basis. This is a high-volume site with consistent work (no downtime or waiting for jobs) working on a modern vehicle fleet using the latest equipment and materials.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing panels ready for primer and paint
• Masking and sheeting vehicles to a high standard
• Carrying out panel preparation and minor repairs
• Applying primer and supporting the paint process
• Delivering right-first-time prep work to reconditioning standards

Due to the nature of this role we will require you on-site in Coalville 5-days per week.

• Up to £37,000 basic salary
• Bonus up to 15%
• 15% pension contribution

• 45 hours per week
• 9-hour shifts between 06:30 - 18:00
• Shift patterns discussed at interview

About You

Minimum criteria:

• Panel / vehicle preparation experience
• Masking and sheeting experienc
• Primer experienc
• Accident repair experience
• Full UK driving licence (manual)
