Duties
  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles, accurately assessing the full extent of damage
  • Prepare and record electronic and manual repair estimates, utilising Audatex confidently
  • Determine the most appropriate prescribed repair methods
  • Liaise effectively with insurance companies to agree repair costs and authorisations
  • Collaborate with the wider bodyshop team to ensure technicians understand repair methodologies
  • Maintain comprehensive records of assessments, estimates, and repair progress
  • Provide expert advice on repair timelines and repair strategies to clients and colleagues
Requirements
  • NVQ or ATA qualification preferred; applications from other experienced automotive professionals are encouraged
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience in vehicle damage assessment, estimates, or related automotive roles
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Skills in using Audatex or similar estimating software would be advantageous
