Van Driver

Van Driver wanted in Gloucester paying £13.00ph to £14.00ph, with starts between 04:00 and 10:00. This is an ad-hoc temporary requirement until Christmas, delivering winter products to customers. Weekend work may also be available at higher rates. Looking for your next driving role? We're recruiting Van drivers for a leading national distribution company based in Gloucester. Whether you're experienced or newly qualified, this is a great opportunity to earn competitive pay while working with a respected logistics business offering flexible shifts and ongoing support. Your Duties:

• Driving a 3.5t van for deliveries and collections
• Moving vehicles around the yard and ensuring they are loaded correctly and ready for departure.
• Delivering full pallets, mostly forklifted, with occasional use of a tail lift or pallet truck.
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional attitude.
• Being flexible and happy to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle at the same rate when required.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category B driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Maximum of 9 penalty points for minor offences only.
• Physically fit and comfortable with light manual handling.
• Available for starts between 04:00 and 10:00, Monday to Friday, with some weekends.
• Reliable, flexible, professional and customer-focused attitude.
