VAN DRIVER

Location: RM Postcode (via Driver Hire Romford)

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Type: Ad-Hoc / Temporary Driver

Payment: PAYE only - No Ltd/UMB or self-employed options

About the Role

Driver Hire Romford are currently recruiting experienced Van Multi-Drop Drivers for work across the RM postcode area.

You'll be joining an established and leading independent UK distributor, representing the business professionally while providing excellent customer service. You'll be responsible for ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining high company standards.

Job Specification

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customers safely and efficiently
• Deliver goods across the local area, including London
• Load and secure goods safely in the vehicle
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required
• Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
• Plan routes effectively using your knowledge of the local area
• Maintain high health & safety standards at all times
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good condition
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service

What You Need

• A full and valid UK driving licence
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• Previous commercial van driving experience
• Multi-drop delivery experience preferred
• Good knowledge of the local area and London
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A professional, reliable and motivated approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own transport to get to and from the workplace
• Good level of physical fitness, as manual handling and lifting will be required
• Must be punctual and dependable
