Pure Staff are currently recruiting Van Drivers for a tyre delivery operation based in Erdington, Birmingham.

This is a temporary, ad hoc role with ongoing work available for the right candidate, ideal for drivers looking for flexible shifts. The role is physically demanding, involving heavy handball and manual handling.

• Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
• Contract Type: Temporary / Ad hoc (ongoing work for the right candidate)
• Start Times/Shift Length: 06:00 ( hours) or 12:00 (5 6 hours)
• Duties include:
• Heavy handball and manual handling
• Completing deliveries safely and on time
• Vehicle checks and basic paperwork

Requirements

• Minimum age 25+ (for insurance purposes)
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience
• Maximum 6 points on licence
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Happy with both deliveries of new tyres and collections of scrap tyres
• Contactable throughout shift
• Willing to call and report failed deliveries or issues as and when they happen
• Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standard
• Able to unload and load vehicle as and when required
• Must have Hi vis and steel toe cap safety boots

Your hourly pay rate is £12.21, and you will accrue £1.47 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
