The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament is looking for a Peace Education Development Coordinator (PEDC) to expand the delivery capacity of its peace education programme through the development of a national School Speakers' Network.

Responsibilities

• Expand the delivery capacity of the peace education programme through the development of a national School Speakers' Network.

Requirements

• Experience of working in an educational environment.
• Experience recruiting and coordinating volunteers.
• Commitment to cooperative and active learning and to the aims and objectives of CND.
• Good working knowledge of the English Education System and National Curriculum.
• Experience delivering training and public speaking.

Position details

• Location: London-based, with regular travel throughout the UK including overnight stays.
• Hours: 35 hours per week, five days per week.
• Contract: One year in the first instance, subject to a 3-month probationary period.
