We are working with a consultancy partner supporting a central government programme and are looking for several experienced User Researchers to join an established multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidates will have previous experience working on GDS-aligned government services and be confident in planning, conducting, and analysing user research to inform service and product design.

Role overview:

• Conduct user research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods
• Analyse and synthesise findings to provide clear, actionable insights
• Present research outcomes to design, product, and delivery teams
• Work closely with content, design, and product colleagues to ensure services meet user needs
• Plan and deliver research across discovery, Alpha, and beta phases
• Support continuous improvement through evidence-based recommendations

Experience required:

• Previous experience working on GDS-aligned government projects
• Strong understanding of user-centred design and research best practices
• Proven ability to design and deliver research activities in agile environments
• Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience using tools and techniques to test and validate design hypotheses
