We are looking for a skilled and user-centric UX Designer with 5-6 years of experience to join our team and collaborate in a remote project for one of our clients, for a 100% remote project.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a skilled and user-centric UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, compliant, and engaging web applications that manage connected access control systems.
You would play a key role in shaping a responsive, cloud-hosted IoT platform that enables users to monitor and control automatic doors and access points remotely, in compliance with IEC60839 and related security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and journey mapping to deeply understand workflows related to access control and building security management.
- Design scalable web user interfaces that function effectively across devices (desktop, tablet) using responsive design principles.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes for web applications using design tools like Figma.
- Apply and extend existing design systems and UI libraries, ensuring consistency with brand identity and accessibility guidelines as provided in the desigh hub.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering, product management, and security teams to define interfaces that reflect system health, real-time alerts, and user control of physical endpoints.
- Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder reviews.
- Ensure user flows comply with IEC60839 functional expectations, including logging, door state control, and auditability of access-related events.
- Design experiences that reflect the real-time nature of a cloud-hosted IoT environment, handling edge conditions, delayed updates, and connection states.
- Document UX decisions clearly for cross-team collaboration, and participate in agile design and sprint rituals.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing web-based applications-preferably for B2B SaaS or IoT platforms.
- Strong command of responsive UI/UX principles for browser-based applications.
- Solid experience with Figma,
- Good understanding of REST-based API behavior, event-driven UI, and real-time feedback UX.
- Knowledge of user authentication, role-based access control, and user activity auditing from a UX point of view.
- Experience designing for cloud-hosted applications with a focus on latency, security, and system observability.
