Job Description

Their commitment to excellence drives us to seek talented professionals who share our passion for advancing medical technology.Position Overview: In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the usability and human factors aspects of our medical devices meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for individuals holding a degree in Medical Engineering or a related field.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and human factors analyses to inform the design and development of medical devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and regulatory affairs, to integrate human factors considerations throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Generate and maintain usability engineering documentation, including use specifications, task analyses, and usability test plans.
  • Participate in the development and execution of usability test protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Analyse and interpret usability test results, providing actionable recommendations to improve product design and user experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, human factors standards, and regulatory requirements related to medical devices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Usability Human Factors Engineer role within the medical devices industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of human factors engineering principles, usability testing methodologies, and relevant standards.
  • Proficiency in tools and software used for human factors research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
