Urgent Hiring! Disability Assessor - Southampton

Hybrid role (home and office based) for Disability Assessors. Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. No weekends, no nights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
• Review medical evidence and assess daily living impact
• Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
• Make objective recommendations based on evidence
• This is an assessment-focused role - no prescribing, no treatment plans, and no shift pressures

Training

• 12-week paid training covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing
• You will be fully supported before working independently

• Registered Adult Nurses (NMC)
• Occupational Therapists (HCPC)
• Physiotherapists (HCPC)
• Paramedics (HCPC) (PIP Only)
• Pharmacists (GPhC) (PIP Only)

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
• At least 1-year active registration
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Confident IT and typing skills
• Sponsorship is not available
