Job Details

We are hiring Functional Assessors across the UK for hybrid roles (home and office based).

Salary

• PIP Assessor: £45,300 + bonus; £1,000 salary increase after 6 and 12 months.
• WCA Assessor: £48,000 + bonus; £1,000 salary increase after 6 months.
• Up to 10% quality and performance bonus.

Hours

• Full time (WCA/PIP): Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm.
• Part time (WCA only): 0.6 FTE (3 days), 0.8 FTE (4 days); part time must work Friday and can choose other days.

What You'll Do

• Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face to face).
• Review medical evidence and daily living impact.
• Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
• Make objective recommendations based on evidence.
• Assessment focused role - no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.

Training

12-week paid training covering:

• Assessment techniques.
• DWP guidelines.
• Report writing.
• Full support before working independently.

Who We're Looking For

• Registered Adult Nurses (NMC).
• Occupational Therapists (HCPC).
• Physiotherapists (HCPC).
• Paramedics (HCPC) - PIP only.
• Pharmacists (GPhC) - PIP only.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post registration experience in an adult setting.
• At least 1 year active registration.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Confident IT and typing skills.
• Sponsorship is not available.
