Salary

• PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £45,000 + 5% of salary bonus when training is passed. Up to 10% performance bonus per year.
• WCA Assessor (5-6 shorter assessments per day): £48,000 + 5% of salary bonus when training is passed. Up to 10% performance bonus per year.
• Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.

Hours

• Full time (WCA/PIP)
• Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
• Part time (WCA Only)
• 0.6 FTE (3 days)
• 0.8 FTE (4 days)
• PT must work Friday and can choose the remaining days to work.

What You'll Do

• Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face to face)
• Review medical evidence and daily living impact
• Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
• Make objective recommendations based on evidence
• This is an assessment focused role - no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.

Training

• 12-week paid training covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, report writing, and full support before working independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
• At least 1-year active registration
• Strong communication and report writing skills
