Salary: Circa £29,000 depending on experience + excellent package.

Location: Fareham office (hybrid working available).

Ideally you may have experience in the Insurance Industry and underwriting environment, but passion for developing and maintaining customer relationships and desire to learn and progress are essential.

What will you be doing?

• Support Underwriters, Brokers and Customers throughout the end to end process.
• Communicate face to face, by phone and in writing with internal teams and global customers.
• Collaborate with process stakeholders.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support team development.
• Meet stipulated timeframes and deliver high quality work.
• Provide training and onboarding support to offshore teams.
• Handle and take responsibility for assigned accounts independently.
• Compute rates and premiums for policies and prepare declarations, coverage forms, and endorsements.
• Review risk in support of underwriting decisions.
• Escalate premium payment issues to the appropriate managers.
• Produce reports and statistics from the reporting platform.
• Prepare underwriting decision material and make recommendations.
• Follow up on cash collection.
• Prepare and deliver service presentations to brokers and customers.
• Maintain data quality and integrity in systems and perform quality reviews.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and suggest solutions.
