Position Details

Location: Kent Campus Hospital

Status: Full Time, 80 Hours

Shift: Days

Salary Range: $42.92 - $66.52 hourly

Role Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager, the supervisor oversees daily departmental activities, provides training, and ensures quality control. The role involves operating imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images as requested by physicians.

Responsibilities

1. Performing Procedures: Conduct exams following standard protocols, ensure patient safety, and adapt to protocol updates.
2. Personnel Management: Supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, manage staffing schedules, and handle payroll and attendance tracking.
3. Quality Assurance: Monitor technical quality through regular QA reviews, provide education or disciplinary actions as needed, and report on process improvements.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment functionality, report issues, and verify daily checks meet guidelines.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate in Ultrasound
• Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: Minimum two years in Ultrasound; supervisory experience preferred.
• Preferred: Registered Vascular Technologist certification.
