You will join the EY's Salesforce services team within Technology Consulting, working closely with communities of transformation focussed professionals who work together to deliver this change, sharing modern engineering enablement and smart automation to optimise delivery and speed to outcome. These teams have deep functional knowledge and experience across our client's core business functions, combined with deep technical skills to lead and deliver business outcome led high quality client solutions. Our management consultants and our technology consultants have the same objectives - client focused, functional advice combined with technology enablement, one team, one dialogue, driving change and outcomes.

Your key responsibilities As mentioned above EY is hiring Technical Consultants across a wide range of experience levels. The role of technical consultants within EY is describe below - the extent of ownership or support of each of these roles is subject to the candidate's experience level.

Market / Client Centricity In this role, you will focus on EY's clients in Financial Services, Corporates, and the Public Sector to drive opportunities and revenue through Salesforce-led digital transformation. You will build relationships, understand client challenges, and create technical capability maps and delivery plans. You will collaborate with technical architects, SMEs, and client stakeholders and:
  • Identify and gather information on new client and sector issues through meetings and share this effectively within Salesforce and Tech Consulting.
  • Facilitate expansion of points of contact between EY, Salesforce and the client. Create, maintain and drive the execution of the relationship map and plan to develop many to many contacts.
  • Personally lead development of those relationships where EY has no existing relationship, introducing and supporting connections for specialists to then win work
  • Develop peer relationships with client technical project / programme managers, product owners, enterprise architects and other senior stakeholders, and together with the Salesforce, build executive level connections.
  • Help lead the scoping, shaping and sizing of EY's bids and proposals, winning and delivering of customer and digital transformation engagements.
Technical & Solution Design
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in one or more Salesforce clouds and products - e.g. Core Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience), Salesforce Industries, Mulesoft, Data Cloud - leveraging the Salesforce platform and its ecosystem.
  • Provide technical expertise with regards to overall enterprise architecture, cloud migration and/or software-as-a-service in one or more target sectors. We are particularly interested in candidates with industry experience in Financial Services, Telco, Media & Technology and Life Sciences/Pharma.
  • Lead technical analysis of client's current and to-be processes to define system/technology requirements
  • Drive technical/system/application designs and ensure technology solutions represent current and future business requirements
  • Lead the workstream to capture technical requirements and translate into solution components.
  • Line management of technical managers/consultants/developers within the team, coaching, guiding and helping them grow to their full potential.
  • Provide leadership and upskill team members on solution design, technical analysis, user centric design and business process improvement.
  • Focus on own development.
  • Continuous meaningful career development and performance review conversation with direct reports
  • Lead, manage and maximise the performance of project teams when acting as the Technical Lead or Workstream Lead.
Skills and attributes for success To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 10 - 15 years of relevant consulting experience or Salesforce experience at an end user
  • A minimum of three current Salesforce certifications
  • Ability to articulate the value of Salesforce and emerging technologies to a non-technical audience in a clear and compelling fashion
  • Capable of prioritising and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive in a way that our clients would have confidence in you
  • Experience in building and presenting with Microsoft PowerPoint or similar package
Ideally, you also will have:
  • Experience facilitating or contributing to technical requirements gathering workshops with clients to identify pain points and translate functional requirements to technical solutions
  • Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile waterfall methodologies
  • Prior experience in consulting for medium-to-large-scale system implementations
  • Experience in providing solutions in the Salesforce ecosystem - including but not limited to core Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing)
  • Technical architecture and design experience
  • Experience with Veeva CRM
  • Certifications/experience working with any of the Salesforce Industry Clouds and/or Agentforce
