TransportTeam Lead

55.5 hours, working Monday to Friday 4:30am to 3pm, Saturdays 4:30am to 10am (some flexibility required)

We're looking for a Team Lead to come join our Cardiff Depot. In this role you will be the link between the supervisors and warehouse staff providing immediate hands on leadership and supervision ensuring maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment.

The heart of the role

• Coordinating,prioritising,and delegatingTransportactivities.
• Management ofstaffhours, sickness, holidaysto help ensureno detriment tooperations.
• To motivate and develop stafftomaximize productivity and efficiency.
• Check, load, and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes utilising Asset Tracking Devices.
• Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and security.
• Carry out all required safety checks on your allocated vehicle and equipment.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk forthe majority ofyour shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
