Transport Officer (CDC)

Overview

Transport Officer role within Travel Assistance Service to arrange and monitor transport for children and adults across Doncaster borough. Day to day provision of service, customer focused, work calmly under pressure.

Contract Details

• Salary: Grade 5 - £25,584 (Pay award pending)
• Contract Type: Temporary until 30/03/2027, Part time
• Hours: 22.2 hours, three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday)
• Closing date: 7th June 2026

Responsibilities

Assist with day to day provision of the Travel Assistance Service, arrange and monitor transport for children and adults, deliver transport service, communicate with customers, work calmly under pressure.

Qualifications

Good communication skills, customer focused, ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure. Experience with transport arrangements desirable but not mandatory. Availability for the temporary contract.
