We're looking for a hands-onTransport & Logistics Managerto lead from the front, optimise our operations, and shape the future of how we move product from our facility to customers across the UK.

This isn't a desk-bound role. You'll be on the groundleading a team, fine-tuning processes, andmaking decisions that matter- from vehicle route planning and compliance to budget control and team development. You'll get the freedom to drive innovation, backed by a leadership team that values initiative and accountability.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead our drivers, loaders, and logistics teams to achieve excellence in service and safety

  • Plan smart, flexible vehicle routes that meet evolving customer needs

  • Oversee fleet maintenance and ensure 100% compliance with all transport regulations

  • Own performance metrics: fuel efficiency, cost control, and contract management

  • Develop and inspire your team, including those working off-site

  • Tackle operational challenges with creative solutions and a can-do attitude

  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to broader business planning and reporting

  • Champion continuous improvement and a customer-first approach

What We're Looking For:

  • CPC Transport Manager qualificationand afull UK driving licence

  • Proven leadership experience in transport or logistics

  • A blend ofstrategic thinkingandhands-on action

  • Strong working knowledge of compliance, safety, and fleet operations

  • Confidence with budgets, cost analysis, and supplier contracts

  • Great communicator and motivator with a calm, problem-solving mindset

  • Tech-savvy - confident in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Practical, driven, and never afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed
