The Role

This is a varied role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our transport operation. You will provide support across multiple ATL sites when required. A driving licence and a vehicle are essential.

  • Maintain accurate transport records, trackers, spreadsheets, and system updates
  • Prepare driver paperwork, delivery documentation, PODs, and dispatch packs
  • Support agency bookings, attendance tracking, onboarding, assessments, and inductions
  • Help maintain visibility of driver and vehicle availability across the operation
  • Monitor POD returns and support customer KPI requirements
  • Assist with purchase orders, invoices, timesheets, and general transport administration
  • Support compliance, audit readiness, and safe working practices
  • Escalate issues, gaps, delays, or missing information to the relevant manager promptly
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a transport, logistics, warehousing, distribution, fleet, or operational environment
  • At least 2 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably within transport or logistics
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise with drivers, customers, agencies, and internal teams
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and relevant systems
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider operational team
  • Flexibility to support multiple sites when required
  • A professional, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Experience with agency labour, bookings, onboarding, assessments, inductions, transport systems, or POD processes would be advantageous
Qualifications

You should be qualified to GCSE level, or equivalent, in English and Maths.
