Transformation Project Managers - Local Authority

My client in Greater London is looking to appoint talented Transformation Project Managers on a Contract basis.

The roles will support the team's Programme Director and Programme Manager, leading the practical delivery of the Council's new operating model through its cross-functional service review, redesign, and rollout workstreams.

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid - 2-3 days on site):

1. The Transformation Team's Project Managers will play pivotal roles in making the Council high-performing and resident-focused.
2. You will ensure impactful results, sustained delivery, and a fit-for-purpose operating model.
3. You should be operationally experienced and financially focused as a project manager.
4. These roles require a relentless emphasis on driving the transformation team and organization towards continuous improvement and new ways of working.

About you:

You will have the following skills or experiences:

1. Extensive experience in Project Management within a Local Authority context.
2. Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage workstreams using a structured, data-driven approach.
3. Ability to align strategy with operations and a willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' to achieve deliverables.
4. Proven change management and improvement experience within local government and/or consultancy, with knowledge of quality and improvement methodologies such as design thinking, process improvement, and systems thinking.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £400-£500 per day Inside IR35
• Negotiable based on experience
