To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It is the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance; support analysis of data from investment portfolios and cash flow to uncover trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct research on the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
  • Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms that benefit both the client and the bank.
  • Provide guidance to clients to support financial decisions, including expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies, and updates on market trends.
  • Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement measures to minimise potential losses.
  • Document all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and communicate findings to support product development, service offerings, and overall bank strategy.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.
  • Ensure timely client related activity for all PFL Products (Payment, FX, Liquidity), including managing product requests, aligning pricing with agreed terms, refreshing client profiles, and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Transaction Banking Sales Specialists, Client Service, Onboarding/Implementation, and Relationship Directors/Associate Bankers.

Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, consistently driving continuous improvement. Demonstrate in depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise, with a thorough understanding of underlying principles and concepts. Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development, allocating work, and coordinating resources. Establish strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the immediate function, build a network of contacts, and act as a primary contact for external stakeholders. Demonstrate the Barclays values and mindset in all interactions.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Transaction Banking Cash Product and Services knowledge.
  • Understanding of end to end client and product onboarding.
  • Experience in client facing roles and managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Financial Services experience.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, proactively engaging internal stakeholders and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Outlook, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology skills.
Location and Regulatory Requirements

This role is located in Dublin. It is a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the holder to obtain mandatory regulatory qualifications or meet internal benchmark qualifications.
