Job Description

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster

Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver "better trained sailors to the front line faster". You will be responsible for creating and updating information within current systems, to ensure that the delivery of courses and associated resource requirements are in line with Company standards and contractual requirements. This is a Fixed Term Contract position until 31st March 2027. Job title: Training Support Administrator

Job description
  • Full-time role - 37.5 hours a week
  • Location: HMS Collingwood - Portsmouth
  • Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
What you'll be doing
  • Creating and updating course templates in TAFMIS applications
  • Scheduling updated course Templates within TAFMIS Timetable course templates in TAFMIS to meet the requirements
  • Allocating resources and venues for the required scheduled training courses
  • Working collaboratively and engaging with other training support departments and Training Groups
  • Liaising with relevant project teams as and when required
What we're looking for
  • Good IT skills using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexible to travel
  • Experience of working in fast a fast paced environment and dealing with significant amounts of change.
  • Attention to detail
  • Military experience would be useful, but not essential
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently
