3t is currently looking to recruit a Training Manager on a permanent contract located in Manchester, England.

3t Training Services is the UK's largest and leading provider of training for the oil and gas, wind, and power industries, and a major player globally, whilst also making a significant impact on the wider and utilities sectors including gas, electric, and water.
The RoleRole Purpose: You will be responsible for the day to day running of the training operations and planning department with responsibility for site and facilities.
Scope- 3t Utilities (based in Manchester)
- Delivery of Gas, Water, Power and Net Zero training.
- Input for budget/capex requests to expand, improve or start new training courses.
- Responsible for Planning, Manchester Booking System and Team Management
- Working closely with colleagues in Training Delivery, Planning, Contractors and Quality and Compliance.
- Day to day line management of the planning operations and facilities departments
- Lead with Vision (Booking system) and the integration within 3t Manchester
- Support on the recruitment of internal and external resources for training delivery
- Manage team to ensure our practical facilities are of the highest standard
- Responsible for planned / unplanned maintenance.
- Review course delivery expenditure and lead on cost management initiatives
- Manage the development of new courses / products to meet current and emerging demands, working directly with Power, Gas and Water teams
- Deal with client responses and queries as pertains to course delivery
- Manage and review course feedback and general customer service scoring, acting upon results
- Support with quality assurance and standardisation of training delivery
- Support on the upskilling and cross training of delivery teams to ensure high levels of operational flexibility
- Support Compliance team with both internal and external accreditation and certification audits
- Staff management / PDP's
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the Director of Utilities.

- Significant experience in similar role, including planning, finance and forecasting (at least 5 years)
- Experience of managing a training delivery and operations team
- Business acumen and commercial awareness
- A professional approach and appearance that reflects the role and company image
- Qualified in Gas, Power or Water
- Sector exposure
