Job IntroductionJoin Landmarc's Patrols Team and play a key role in supporting military training across the Defence Training Estate.
This is a varied outdoor role where you'll patrol the training area, support military exercises, monitor public access, respond to incidents, and help keep the estate safe and secure. Perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, driving across diverse terrain and being part of a team that directly supports the UK's Armed Forces.
No experience required, we'll provide full training, ongoing development and opportunities to build your career with Landmarc.
- Salary: £33,194.08 per year (includes shift allowance)
- Location: Lulworth Ranges, Wareham, Dorset
- Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
- Hours: Average 39 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: This role operates on a rotating shift pattern across Monday to Sunday between 07:00 - 00:00, supporting both military training and public access. Regular evening and late shifts are required, so flexibility is essential.

What You'll Do
- Patrol the Defence Training Estate using company vehicles
- Support military training exercises and estate operations
- Monitor public access areas and promote safety
- Respond to incidents, hazards and security concerns
- Operate warning systems, including flags, lights and training controls
- Conduct inspections and report defects or unauthorised activity
- Complete reports using digital and paper-based systems
- Work closely with military personnel, colleagues and the public
What We're Looking For
- Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Confident driving across rural sites and varied terrain
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Calm, reliable and safety-focused
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills and confidence using tablets/mobile devices
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential)
