Location: Vacancies at Carlisle, Dumfries or Penrith Hours: 40 Hours per week Salary: £10.85 - £15.50 per hour What will you be doing? As a Trainee Service & Maintenance Technician at our Carlisle, Dumfries or Penrith dealership, you'll complete a structured two-year training programme designed to develop your skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced, fully qualified Technicians.During your training, you will: Learn how to diagnose vehicle faults, developing the skills and confidence to carry out diagnostics independently. Assist with and progressively carry out routine servicing and maintenance inspections to manufacturer and industry standards. Work towards becoming fully competent in carrying out full vehicle inspections and achieving the nationally recognised IRTEC qualification. Attend manufacturer training courses delivered by DAF Trucks , alongside practical, hands-on workshop experience. Develop an understanding of safe working practices and workshop procedures. Build the technical skills required to service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. What are we looking for?
