Job Description

My client is a leading Kent-based law firm, recognised as one of the top 100 law firms in the UK. They are currently offering several exciting training contract opportunities for ambitious, up-and-coming lawyers who are keen to start their legal careers in a supportive and high-performing environment.

These roles are based in Canterbury, so candidates must either live locally or be within a reasonable commuting distance. The firm prides itself on fostering talent and providing structured development, offering trainees exposure to a wide range of legal work across different practice areas. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience while building a long-term career within a respected and growing legal practice.

The ideal candidate will have achieved a strong academic record, typically holding a 2:1 degree from a recognised university, complemented by good A-levels. They should demonstrate a genuine interest in law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think analytically and work effectively as part of a team. Previous legal experience, internships, or vacation schemes are advantageous but not essential, as the firm values potential, drive, and the ability to learn quickly.

As a trainee within this firm, you will benefit from structured training, mentoring from experienced solicitors, and exposure to high-quality client work across multiple areas of law. The firm takes a collaborative approach, ensuring that trainees are supported while being challenged to develop both professionally and personally.

If you are a recent graduate looking to launch your career in law with a top-tier firm, based in or around Canterbury, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and well-regarded legal team.
