Titan Private Wealth is a well-established independent investment management business who provide portfolio management and stockbroking services to private clients. With full in-house back office, research and support teams, Titan Private Wealth are committed to providing an exceptional level of service to our clients which is achieved by developing long-term and trusted relationships. Titan Private Wealth our investment management arm, recently rebranded from Cardale, founded in 2003 and based in Harrogate.

Reporting into the team who manage onboarding new business to Titan Private Wealth from Financial Advisers internally within the group and externally outside of the group. The trainee will work within a team of senior investment managers to provide support in all aspects of investment management and the onboarding process.

Responsibilities
  • To represent the company to clients, potential clients and introducers of clients at the standard necessary and to develop the business in accordance with strategic and financial objectives.
  • To provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of investment managers. Participation in all aspects of client reporting, including periodic valuations, ad-hoc transactions and performance monitoring.
  • To produce client facing documentation to onboard new business to Titan Private Wealth including proposals & portfolio comparisons.
  • Resolve queries from clients either by telephone or letter, with the assistance of qualified members of your team.
  • To maintain the highest standards of compliance in keeping with the company's obligations to clients, counterparties and the regulator.
  • To develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and professional qualifications.
  • To ensure that they familiarise themselves and abide by the company's value statement and policy with regard to TCF (Treating Customers Fairly)
  • To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
Critical Skills and Experience required

If you are a school leaver or graduate who has an interest in working within the wealth management industry and has the following attributes, we are interested in hearing from you.

  • A team player with a client-focused approach
  • Good organisational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
  • Numerate and comfortable working with IT applications and processing data.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can work to your own initiative
  • Inquisitive with a 'can do' attitude to learning and enjoys developing new skills;
  • A people person who is a good communicator, both oral and written
  • A desire to study for professional qualifications
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
Other information

Full UK driver's license - required

Frequent travel to client locations will be required

Harrogate based role but flexibility to travel and stay overnight due to meetings in other locations
