Role Overview

As a Trainee Claims Assessor you will provide vital financial support to individuals and families when they need it most, while gaining full training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities
  • Assess claims using medical and policy knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers throughout the claims process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Claims department while managing your own caseload.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, always putting the customer first.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Curious and analytical - able to investigate, spot patterns and think critically.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused mindset.
  • Organised and resilient - comfortable managing varied workloads in a fast paced environment.
  • Empathetic and professional - able to handle sensitive situations with care and discretion.
  • Relevant experience in customer service, case work or financial services, or qualifications or experience in law, psychology, nursing or a related field.
