Role Title: Trading Controls Audit & Regulatory Closure Specialist

Location: London- 2-3 days onsite

Duration: 31/12/2026

Pay Rate: £514 per day all inc. (PAYE through Umbrella)

Role Description:

Support Client's Trading Controls remediation programme by leading or supporting audit validation, regulatory closure documentation, evidence collation, and formal attestation readiness across CIB, GCT and BCB. The role is designed for a hands-on controls practitioner with strong experience in audit/2LoD validation, closure packs, and trading controls remediation within global investment banks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and quality-check audit and regulatory closure packs, including evidence bundles, issue closure narratives, and remediation status updates.

- Support audit walkthroughs, 2LoD validation activities, and challenge responses for control design and operating effectiveness.

- Work with Client stakeholders to document control gaps, remediation actions, and closure evidence aligned to programme milestones.

- Contribute to attestation readiness, ensuring the control environment is documented to a standard suitable for internal assurance and regulatory review.

- Provide peer-bank best practice from prior experience in markets controls, internal audit, and risk/control transformation.

- Support governance reporting, issue tracking, and stakeholder coordination across remediation streams.

Required Experience:

- 6-9 years' experience in a global investment bank or equivalent Tier 1 environment.

- Strong background in internal audit, 2LoD testing/validation, or regulatory closure.

- Demonstrable experience in trading controls, Front Office supervisory controls, or markets remediation.

- Experience preparing closure packs, managing evidence, and working with audit/regulatory stakeholders.
