We're working with a leading financial institution that is seeking a Trade Finance Operations Analyst to join its high-performing Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting international trade transactions and ensuring seamless execution of trade finance products.

You'll play a key role in supporting a range of trade finance activities including Letters of Credit (LCs), Guarantees, Bills for Collection, and Supply Chain Finance transactions, helping facilitate global commerce for a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage day-to-day trade finance transactions in line with internal policies and ICC rules (UCP, URDG, URC)
• Handle the issuance, advising, amendment, and settlement of Letters of Credit and Guarantees
• Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing, documentation checks, and discrepancy resolutions
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Front Office, Legal, Compliance) and external parties (counterparties, clients, correspondent banks)
• Monitor and reconcile trade finance positions, payments, and maturities
• Support audit, compliance, and control-related tasks and reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in Trade Finance Operations within a banking or financial services environment
• Strong working knowledge of ICC rules (UCP 600, URDG 758, URC 522) and trade finance instruments
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive problem-solving approach
• Familiarity with trade finance systems (e.g., Surecomp, TI+, Eximbills) is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
