Primtac Personnel is delighted to partner with a well respected Builders Providers in County Louth and looking to hire a Trade Counter Salesperson to join the company. Construction/Building materials knowledge is essential and will allow the right candidate to hit the ground running. Interested in pursuing opportunities in your field?

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle inbound sales enquiries and maximise sales opportunities through upselling.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of stock levels and branch requirements.
• Provide expert advice and support to tradespeople and DIY customers.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team while supporting and mentoring junior staff when required.
• Build strong relationships with customers and clients within a large heating and plumbing suppliers environment.
• Negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure the best products and pricing.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experience in builders providers, construction and building supplies preferred
• People person who gets along well with a team
• Clean drivers license preferred but not essential
• Forklift/Warehousing experience is a plus
