Are you an ambitious Town Planner looking for your next opportunity in the South East? Our client, a well established planning consultancy based in Chichester, is seeking a motivated Town Planner to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, mixed use and strategic development projects while developing your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Town Planner, you will be involved in all aspects of the planning process, working closely with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful planning outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.
• Undertaking planning appraisals and policy research.
• Providing planning advice to a varied client base.
• Liaising with local planning authorities and key stakeholders.
• Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation.
• Monitoring planning policy changes and relevant legislation.
• Supporting senior planners on larger and more complex projects.

• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• MRTPI membership or progress towards chartership (preferred but not essential).
• Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or developer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A proactive approach and a genuine passion for planning.
