We're looking for a Test Managerto lead and evolve our testing capability across a diverse and fast-paced portfolio of projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our digital products and services meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
As a Test Manager, you'll play a key role in defining and executing test strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and embedding best practices across the Software Development Lifecycle. You'll work closely with stakeholders across IT and the wider business, championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. With a strong focus on mobile device testing and automation, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What will I be doing?- Define and implement a tailored testing strategy aligned with enterprise standards, ensuring quality and consistency across all projects.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple systems and delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Manage internal and external testing teams, including offshore and vendor resources, to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Drive the adoption and execution of test automation frameworks and tools, particularly for mobile device testing.
- Provide clear and actionable test reporting and metrics to stakeholders, supporting continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with testing standards, timelines, and budgets while fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Proven experience in test management across diverse delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong background in mobile device testing and test automation.
- Experience with line managing onshore teams as well as working with third-party vendors & offshore individuals.
- Proficient in tools such as Jira for test and defect management.
- Familiarity with TDD, CI/CD, or DevOps practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A hands-on approach and a passion for quality.
Qualifications
- ISTQB Test Management certification is desirable.
