Test Engineer (FR)

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Test Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located at Herstal and Evegnée.

As a Test Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, organizing, and executing trials requested by internal departments, including those involving pyrotechnical products
• Performing tests in internal facilities, external laboratories, or on military firing ranges
• Producing comprehensive test reports in a timely manner
• Participating in the creation and daily follow-up of the global test planning
• Ensuring proper allocation and availability of testing facilities based on test demands
• Managing the list of test capabilities at Herstal and Evegnée (including user manual development, maintenance management, and user training)
• Assisting with firing campaigns and training sessions abroad (supporting Program and After-Sales departments)
• Proposing upgrades to test facilities and evaluating potential investments in new test equipment

Your Profile

• Electromechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience (junior profiles are welcome)
• Pyrotechnical knowledge or strong interest is a plus
• Comfortable with writing technical documentation
• Language(s): French and English (spoken and written); Polish or German is a plus
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Interest in or experience with the defense sector
• Knowledge of IVVQ processes is a plus
