Role Overview: Tendering Engineer - Hybrid

Joining their tight-knit tendering team, my client is looking for a highly skilled Tendering Engineer to prepare and submit accurate, competitive, and commercially viable tenders to assist with increasing their customer base & project workload. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and have a desire to help with growing the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the estimation, pricing & tendering of new electrical service projects.

Review incoming enquiries and tender documents to determine project requirements, scope, and feasibility.

Preparing cost estimation and business proposals for projects including LV/HV electrical systems, renewable energy, and power distribution services. There's a focus on securing 132KV projects.

Aim to prepare and submit accurate, competitive, and commercially viable tenders whilst building relationships with customers.

This role offers the opportunity to work from home most days, with an expectation to be in the office once a fortnight.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role conducting the pricing, estimating & tendering for new projects.

HNC/HND Qualified in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.

Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure (LV/HV systems, switchgear, cabling, etc).

Strong understanding of NEC and JCT contracts.

Full right to work in the UK.
