In this pivotal role, you'll not only leverage your extensive experience to tackle challenging projects, but also become a guiding light for aspiring engineers. You'll be the go to expert, crafting winning proposals and leading projects from conception to successful execution.
Tendering & Quotation Management- Prepare high quality, compliant bid and tender responses in line with business priorities.
- Review and approve tender pricing and costing estimates, submitting for management approval where required.
- Carry out formal risk assessments on relevant tenders and ensure compliance with internal processes.
- Maintain and update pricing tools, templates and quotation systems to meet market needs.
- Assess incoming enquiries and determine suitability for standard pricing models.
- Work closely with the external sales team to support and execute sales strategies.
- Ensure smooth, accurate handover of accepted orders to project delivery teams.
- Maintain accurate opportunity, quotation and activity records within the CRM system.
- Experience working with tendering processes and commercial evaluations.
- Knowledge of Power Monitoring Systems, SCADA, Automation, Protection, RTU solutions and related technologies.
- Understanding of LV and MV electrical distribution systems.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across cultures and functions.
- Well organised, detail focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (but not essential).
- Additional training in project management, commercial management, contract management or purchasing (advantageous but not required)
