What the Role Entails

Position Overview

With over 20 years of experience in audio and video technology, Tencent Cloud launched Tencent Cloud Media Services in 2022, offering a one-stop media solution including messaging, VOD, live streaming, and global acceleration. We provide SDKs and PaaS services for efficient, cost-effective solutions for global customers.

• Work closely with the sales team as the point of contact for audio and video customers, providing technical support for pre-sales consultation and PoC verification, maintaining customer relationships, and aiding the sales team in achieving goals.
• Support the architecture team by analyzing customers' media business technology architectures, identifying needs and values in audio/video scenarios, and providing industry solutions and case studies for international markets such as OTT, social media, gaming, education, and business.
• Understand industry solutions and align customers' business and technical requirements with Tencent's audio and video products to help them achieve their goals. Communicate customer and industry requirements to the product development team.
• Participate in online and offline product and industry presentations to share Tencent's media product capabilities, industry experience, and insights, enhancing Tencent's influence and establishing a network of industry customers in media services.
• Collaborate with channel and marketing teams to support regional ecosystem partners, including training and workshops.

Who We Look For

• At least three years of experience with a bachelor's degree or above in computer/IT/cloud computing related fields.
• Excellent Chinese and English communication skills, including public speaking and documentation.
• Familiarity with audio and video fields such as RTC products, live streaming, VOD, encoding/decoding, and network transmission.
• Strong customer-oriented skills and the ability to communicate with technical decision-makers.
• Experience in related industries or working with public clouds is a plus.
• Cross-cultural communication skills are preferred.
