Are you ready to lead a high-performing team and make a real impact on communities and residents' lives?

We're looking for an experienced and driven Tenancy Legal Team Manager to join PA Housing. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic team responsible for legal recovery, tenancy enforcement, and ASB legal case management - helping to protect communities while ensuring residents are supported fairly and compassionately.

You'll work closely with residents, solicitors, colleagues, and external partners to ensure legal action is managed effectively, compliantly, and with the customer experience at the heart of every decision. If you're passionate about leadership, problem-solving, and delivering excellent outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

This isn't just about managing legal cases - it's about creating safer neighbourhoods, supporting residents, and driving service improvements that make a real difference.

What's in it for you .

In addition to the salary, we offer a number of benefits, including:

  • High street discount schemes
  • Health cash plans
  • 26 days' annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
  • Flexible bank holidays - take them when it suits you
  • Car leasing scheme
  • Hybrid working - offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role. You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role. This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity. We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.
What you'll be doing
  • Lead and support the Tenancy Legal team, creating a positive, high-performing, and customer-focused culture
  • Manage legal aspects of tenancy recovery, possession proceedings, injunctions, and ASB legal cases
  • Work closely with solicitors, holding regular case reviews and ensuring effective case progression
  • Provide legal guidance and support to colleagues across the business on tenancy and enforcement matters
  • Represent PA Housing in legal proceedings, hearings, and resident disputes where required
  • Ensure all activity complies with housing legislation, tenancy law, and regulatory requirements
  • Build strong relationships with residents, local authorities, solicitors, and partner agencies
  • Monitor team performance, set targets, and use data and insight to improve outcomes and service delivery
  • Support residents through sensitive and complex situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying smarter and more effective ways of working
  • Promote resident involvement and ensure customer feedback shapes service delivery
  • Lead by example, coaching and developing team members to achieve their full potential
  • Help shape future services and contribute to wider organisational and neighbourhood strategies
What we're looking for:

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience managing teams within housing, tenancy enforcement, legal recovery, or ASB services
  • Have strong knowledge of tenancy law, housing legislation, and legal recovery processes
  • Are confident managing complex legal cases and working with solicitors and courts
  • Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Can build strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Are highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Have experience using data and performance insights to improve services
  • Are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and fair outcomes
  • Bring a proactive, solution-focused, and collaborative approach
  • Ideally hold a housing qualification or are educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)
