Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced People and Culture Resourcing Senior Administrator to join their team on a temporary 12 month contract. Based in Jersey, this full-time position supports recruitment and resourcing initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves hands-on administration, candidate management, reporting, and onboarding. It is ideal for an experienced HR professional with strong recruitment knowledge and a digital-first mindset who can work independently and build relationships quickly.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including CV screening, interviewing, and shortlisting
  • Proactively source candidates using social media and other direct methods to attract high-quality applicants
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates for future vacancies
  • Manage third-party relationships with recruitment agencies and external vendors
  • Support the implementation and roll-out of an applicant tracking system across all jurisdictions
  • Contribute to the standardisation and simplification of recruitment processes
  • Develop reusable assessment tools and participate in running assessment centres and interviews
  • Report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire
  • Work with business leads to provide accurate monthly headcount reports and forecasts
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Conduct proactive market scanning to enhance direct sourcing and reduce time-to-hire
  • Analyse market trends and participate in networking activities to stay connected to the local talent landscape
  • Provide general support to the wider HR function, including activities related to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, communication, and learning and development

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR or recruitment, preferably within financial services or a similarly regulated environment
  • Comfortable using technology and digital tools to drive efficient work practices
  • Knowledge of local employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good problem-solving and active listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Organised and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
